The 15th edition of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), organized from May 2 to 7 in Meknes around the theme « Green Generation: For sustainable food sovereignty », opened its doors on Friday morning to the general public, after three days dedicated to professionals.

For three days, the inhabitants of the Ismaili capital and its visitors will thus be won over by the festive spirit that emanates from the surroundings of the Salon, which was erected in Sahrij Souani Square, over an area of ​​18 ha, including 11 ha covered, including 10 under tents.

The 15th SIAM offers thousands of visitors, both professionals and the public, a range of products and state-of-the-art agricultural machinery capable of promoting agricultural and animal production and enhancing the key sectors of the regional economy, including agribusiness.

This edition, marked by the participation of more than 68 countries, is hosting, for the first time, the Start-up Village Pavilion, a new center set up on the initiative of the general curator of the Show and which welcomes around thirty start-ups. national and international ups around a program combining round tables, conferences and immersive demonstrations.

Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, SIAM, which is one of the biggest events in Africa dedicated to agriculture and actors in the agricultural sector, is an unmissable event to present the progress of the Morocco in the field and confirm the crucial role played by agriculture as one of the major levers of economic growth.

It should be noted that the United Kingdom is the country of honor for this 2023 edition, which marks the return of this great mass after a three-year hiatus due to the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.
